Promoting a Housing Trust Fund in Milwaukee CDC staff is spearheading a coalition of 100 plus member groups, which successfully convinced the City of Milwaukee to create a Housing Trust Fund which will provide more dollars to build new affordable housing. A Housing Trust Fund will provide an ongoing source of revenue to build new affordable housing in the city. In 2007, the Housing Trust Fund will invest $2.5 million in new housing for Milwaukee residents. |
