The Community Development Center serves as a catalyst for transformational change in neighborhoods, serving residents and institutions surrounding the city YMCA facilities (Northside and John C. Cudahy). Based in the neighborhoods of each city branch and the Association Offices, the goal of the CDC is to transform neighborhoods through education, employment, economic development and housing. CDC staff builds community capacity through traditional grassroots organizing and advocacy; acts as a catalyst for public policy change through research; and serves as a community clearinghouse for area residents.

Program Mission
