Neighborhood Improvement Program

The direct service Neighborhood Improvement Project (NIP) assists eligible owner occupants to repair their homes. All repairs are based upon municipal building code violations, lead hazard reduction and health and safety concerns. The repairs are authorized by the Department of Neighborhood Services (DNS). This is not a remodeling program!

Minor Home Repair (MHR)

The Minor Home Repair program provides income eligible home owners with a dollar for dollar match up to $750.00.  These funds must be used to improve the exterior of their homes.  Homeowners must meet Federal Income Guidelines.

Homebuyer Workshops

The CDC, in partnership with various lending institutions, hosts regularly scheduled workshops aimed at providing prospective homebuyers with the lending and real estate knowledge needed to make an informed decision on home purchase financing.
