Muscular Strength and Range of Motion
Hand held weights, elastic tubing, and small balls are used for resistance to strengthen muscles. This class is done seated in a chair and or standing using the chair for support.
Tai Chi
Tai Chi is composed of gentle, graceful movements linked together in a continuous, smooth flowing sequence. Part martial art, part exercise program and part meditation, Tai Chi – when practiced regularly – can increase flexibility, build strength, improve balance and coordination, relieve stress and enhance concentration.
Zumba Gold
Zumba Gold takes the Zumba formula and modifies the moves and pacing to suit the needs of the active older participant, as well as those just starting their journey to a fit and healthy lifestyle. What stays the same are all the elements the Zumba Fitness-Party is known for: the zesty Latin music, like salsa, meringue, cumbia and reggaeton; the exhilarating, easy-to-follow moves; and the invigorating, party-like atmosphere.
Line Dancing
Join this choreographed dance class! Participants will learn a repeated sequence of steps that will be performed at the same time. A variety of music will be featured. Suitable for families.
BODYVIVE™
This is the perfect low impact, integrated class that focuses on heart fitness and functional strength for daily activities, plus core (abdominal and back) and flexibility work. Uplifting and inspiring music will have you singing along and our motivating instructors will talk you through each exercise. BodyVive will leave you fizzing with energy.
