 YMCA AmeriCorps

Committed, capable people getting things done to build strong kids, strong families and strong communities.

The YMCA AmeriCorps members serve in a variety of capacities including full time, part time and summer positions. They have members placed at various branches within the YMCA of Metropolitan Milwaukee addressing the critical needs of the community as well as at YMCA Camp Minikani and YMCA Camp Matawa facilitating environmental education. YMCA AmeriCorps also collaborates with Philadelphia Community Farms working with youth and special needs individuals and at Common Bond Communities assisting with after school, summer and literacy programs.

The YMCA AmeriCorps program year begins September 1st and ends August 31st of the following year. Members are required to fulfill all program expectations. Full and part time members must dedicate a full year of service. Summer positions run for three months.
