Experiences that involve science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics (STEAM), provide youth with opportunities to innovate, problem solve, design, be creative, and improve critical thinking. Our programs build on children’s natural curiosity by teaching real world concepts through project-based learning.

Experimentation is part of the process — we always encourage students to try something new! Ingenuity and resourcefulness help develop a scientific literacy that kids need to navigate the world. Youth who participate in STEAM activities:

• Get comfortable with failure and trying again as they learn how to solve a problem
• Learn to work successfully in teams, which helps improve self-confidence
• Are able to see themselves in STEM careers

SCIENCE CAFE

In partnership with TinkRworks, kids explore and experiment with magnets, electricity, motors, mechanics, 3D printing, coding, and more.

SUMMER CAMP

Our hands-on STEAM curriculum engages campers in new ways. They’ll have so much fun at summer day camp, they won’t even realize they’re learning!
